dont get me wrong i really shouldnt judge ur relationship with ur wife on one incident i have no right to do that but i dont know i love my car and if i had a wife and if she told me that i should get rid of my car. i ll make sure to let her know that it aint gonna happen. and if she loved me she wouldnt ask me to sell my car because she would know how much i enjoy it.

Fair enough, and I guess it is partialy my fault for not expressing how much I love the little car. We will see I am sure I will be keeping it, but it will be a joint decision not just me telling her "It stays"...LOL |

Some of you are saying you would never let the wife sell the 240, I think you'll change your mind when your get bored of the 240. If I had a wife and she seriously wanted me to sell the 240 for whatever reason, I would. I am not whipped, but your'e talking about your wife for god's sake. This is the lady that is having your kids, the mother of your children, the person that you will spend the rest of your life with, and you would choose a car over her? 240s are great, but they're just a hobby. Life is more than just about cars. If you would rather choose a 240 over your wife, then maybe you shouldn't marry her?

I've been married for two years, and have been with my wife for 10 years. She knew I was into cars when she met me, so she knew what she was getting into. So you're saying that it's okay to sacrifice your own happiness to satisfy someone else? Sorry, but as soon as one person in the relationship isn't happy anymore, it's not a relationship -- it's a power play. I couldn't look at myself in the mirror if I asked my wife to give up something that she loves and makes her happy. That would be selfish on my part, and I wouldn't want her to do it to me. AND SHE WOULDN'T. |
