Does anyone know when you need to replace the timing belt or chain? Which does 93 have?

All 240s have timing CHAINS and they never need to be replaced. Some earlier 240s (mainly SOHC) have issues with a timing chain GUIDE, but you should never need to replace the timing chain itself. If you do, you'll probably be at a point at which you are replacing the whole motor :-)
