^They work better if you invest the money in the FK clear lenses. Planning to run them with my "Bricks" like this, but they should work well with HID projectors.

My friends and I. 3 180s, 1 Zenki S14, 2 kouki S14, 2 S13 Sivlia (projectors), 1 Z31, and 1 xB. All have had great experience with HIDs, all but 2 were random ebay brands (one was some random brand form up garage) the other was catz. Each of us all gained lots of visibility ranging from 6500K - 12000K. Yes of course there are some hot spots and yes they cutoff line isn't perfect like oem, but its not rediculously horrible like the bad pics that circulate forums. Just get decent housings (not diamond cut shit, in the case of s13 flip ups). I recently upgraded from 7500K to 10000K, and its actually brighter, might just be the company difference, but it looks better now.

I have an H1 kit on my Kouki. All thou it is better than 100w halogens it still pales in comparison to my friends S2000's and BMW's HID's.
I'm going with this set up when I finish my current project. http://www.hidplanet.com/package.html

I'd like to do the projector retrofit on the pop up lights on the S13, but it'll be way too involved for me right now, so I'm probably just going to go with the Bosche or Hella E-code H4 conversion housing with a Xetronic bixenon kit. |

I dont know if those projectors on the hidplanet page will fit into a S13 housing. I used the projectors for a 2004 audi. I have tried a few bi xenon projectors and non have fit very well.
Also for a h4 set up I really liked the cibie housings over the hella ones. They had a little better cut off and wide pattern. |

grab some tsx projectors and try to fit them into where the lowbeams are, cant be that hard since its halogen projectors but remember to put the cutoff for LHD. and also clear housing in the front makes it work better so the cutoff would actuallly show.

Anything above 6000K is horrible for light output since it turns everything a different color. These kids running 16000K kits are just asking to run over pedestrians. Plus there's too many people who just throw a kit into a headlight housing and assume it's better because it looks cooler and don't actually realize what cutoff and hot spots are.

I'll have to ask him if he did anything other than just adjusting with the stock adjustments. He is a very crafty person so I wouldnt be suprised if he did something else to them, but AFAIK his lights don't point crazily into oncoming traffic (no1 ever high beams him and I never had a problem if i was driving towards him.

I would lean to 5-6,000 K. 10,000 K is really blue.
I pulled my headlights out and installed on the bench cause the H1 hole is so small. you pull the ground(-) off the housing and the positive of the back and wire it in.
