anyone who's gone to NCDA night drift events at altamont know that almost all of the guys in the top 8/4 run stock KA's. theyre the guys to talk to. ive seen sonny on the boards lately, maybe he can give some input.

yeah when we're already drifting it's fine. But getting there is when you get killed. And yes, the one altimont event that my car ran I made it to top 8 and it was so much fun! All of us were n/a ka. It rocked.

I don't even look at my tach, I just go by exhast tone. I usually feel it, but I have a higher risk of blowing my engine.

I usually just keep my foot on the throttle, when I feel I'm losing power, POW, I bang on the clutch without lifting my foot off the pedal to continue on.

Altamont is kick ass scary, but when you get over the wall fear. Its rush!
