i am looking into buying a 240  but i am wondering on what the weight of the 93 and the 89. If there is a difference in them. because i am goin to do the sr swap with what ever car i can get and if i get the 89 it would be cheaper then getting the 93. any sugrestions?

The 89-90 is lighter, and supposedly handles better stock.  It's cheaper too...go for the 89...

93 SE comes factory with rear Sway bar, and its easier to find one with LSD than an 89'.

You'll replace the rear bar anyway (well...you should) and chances are that neither has an LSD. Since the engine doesn't matter, get the one with the best body/interior/price.

uhh mine is an 89 and came with arear sway bar all 240s come with them to my knowledge.
i could be wrong though. mine has it its an 89 xe coupe

my 93 base came w/ fron n rear sways... (it's a mistery, it came power windows, locks n cruise control as well)  but to my knowledge the coupe is about 25-50lbs lighter !!! which means 2.5-5 hp more to the road!!!
