I always test compression with the engine running. I just start it up, pull the coil pack off, remove the spark plug, screw in the compresion tester... WTF?!?!?

ROFLMFAO!!

Dont be discouraged by the compression? WTF... hmm i dont know, usually bad compresion means bad engine, but i could be wrong.... Either way, it probably will "start" with this bad compression situation.

BTW, try dropping a cap of oil in the spark plug holes, then redoing the compresion test, maybe that might help.... but its not going to start the car.

LETS get car started.

First off.. heres my phone number, call me, im a nice guy, i wont bite (714) 493 0293.

Second.. dont know yuri, im going to assume he's done alot of wiring, and the harness wiring isnt the problem, but, that is the only place to look right now...

A: USed FUc`D harness.

B: Bad Wiring

Did you spec` the wiring yet. the "connection" i would be apt to chek first is the 2 wires on the sr harness into 1 on the ka. This is found by the battery area On the SR harness look for the large guage wire(s). One is Black / Red and the other is Blue / Red. These 2 wires should tie together, then connect to the Black / Red striped wire of the ka harness. It sounds like the connection between these three large guage wires may be bad, this is a "complicated" wiring trick, and the #1 cause in usdm swap for ignition problems/just not working.

YOU SAID that it had "weak" spark. This is my first guess. Weak spark across the board is probably found here, ignitor is kind of an on or off situation, and the coil packs will not have this issue all at once.

Also inspect the wiring around the ignitor/coilpack harness. I just did a new harness/wire job for someone who had a bad/burned up harness from a clip. The used harnesses are getting old and are starting to have more internal problems which are not to easy to find, even with an experienced swap wiring guru.

If the problems continue, purchase a BRAND NEW JDM harness from superior nissan here in california for around $400. Like i said, give me a call, i have free incoming.
