It would work.
It's just like rigging up a haltech that uses distributorless. Mad hours would need to be done in order to splice a harness. Then consider more hours to install all the individual coils for the CA18det ecu. Not worth it in my opinion. Unless you go KA24DET then I would suggest to try something like that since the ecu is already mapped for boost, and the rod/stroke ratio between the 2 engines are similar. It would probably make better HP numbers than the KA24de stock ecu with no retune. 8bitters are a bit outdated, but they are super easy to tune (with a cheap rom editor). If you want to make your own Nissan OEM clip and harness you can purchase the parts at www.digikey.com |
