I heard from someone that installing the SR20DET climate control is ez as plug and play if you have SR.

Is that true? Does it plug into the ac/heater/fan panel? If so, thats ez. haha

I want to know the same thing, I have all the parts from my clip but have been lazy about trying it. I know you will have to swap over the motorized door from the jdm clip and that takes a bit of fabrication.

I hate being the asshole, but did you search? I did a huge writeup years ago on FA for the S14 unit, and numerous other people bring this up monthly and get tons of links about it. No it does not plug in. The engine has absolutely nothing to do with the climate control system, you could have a 1UZ-FE four cam V8 and still have the same wiring to look forward to.

S13 is fairly plug and play (you need a loom with the unit as it plugs in behind the dash)

S14 is a lot harder.

If you knew anything... engine harnesses have nothing to do with dash harnesses. So even if you have an SR.. what the fuck would it matter towards your USDM 240 BODY wiring that is set up for manual climate control?
