About what 1/4 mile times could I expect with 300rwhp on my '95 240 ka 5sp assuming everything was dene correctly - no late shifts, etc.)? I know alot of other factors are involved, that's why i said "About".

My clutch point is about 1 1/2" +/- from the top I believe,
I have no idea how a lower clutch point would help shifting times.

As it stands I drop the clutch just until it looses contact to shift, makes it a lot faster than hitting the floor.

you'd probably be looking at mid 12's to low 13's depending.

Ok, here are some examples of stuff that may make her time more believable. Keep in mind these are with Hondas (oh no! the H word! &nbsp

Stock Integra GSR runs 15.5. Drivers with just and intake and removing PS belt and AC have gotten 14.8. Many people get 15.1 without any mods.

If a car is tuned, it can do a lot better than an untuned car. HP and TQ aren't everything: powerband matters a lot, too. A 200whp Teg Type R runs 12.7 at the track. http://sgt.b16a.com/itr1.html

Those times may be crazy or seem impossible, but you never know.

Hey,
Why can't a bone stock s13 run below 16s? I have a stock s13 5sp and ran a 15.7. No weight reduction. Not even an intake....why do you find it so hard to believe? Just a great driver....

With the mods he listed, he should have been welllll over 200whp. and for a 200 hp car to get consistant 1.8 60' times I'm betting he had slicks too. I will however say, that IS impossible with a 200whp car.

I believe there is quite a bit being left out there, or that wasn't his car running those times.

a 15.7 is completely believable. a 15.2 is not. a half second off an exceptional run, is VERY improbable with only driver skill.

my s13 sohc , ran a 15.8, stock with a header , injen intake, stock piping , into a n1 muffler, i made a air scoop for the intake which helped alot the mouth at the opening was like 8 inches in diameter, sucked in alot of air... i ran this time with the passenger seat out and the spare tire, with all of that i ran 16.5 ...
