If I remember right they are closed untill vacuum is applied. All you need is some anaerobic sealer and a small oil gallery plug to plug the hole left when the actuator is removed. You take off the screws holding the plates onto the rod and a screw in the center then pull the rod out.

Let me explain myself again. I know how to remove them, I just forgot to do so and now it's kinda late. I did remove the rest of the emissions stuff, now the question is if I plug a vacum source to the actuator of these butterflies from the Intake Plenum is it gonna operate normal?
