1998 240 Rb

OK here it is, car is a 1998 240sxSE,

*** edit compression check #5 cyl is bad**

was an automatic now a manual(sunroof, non-abs, open diff), switched out to a RB25DET engine and transmission. It is currently in San Diego, liscensed and registered in Oregon, and not running right. On May 1st I have to move to Oregon, and don't have access to shops to fix it anymore. my loss your gain.
Looking for 10K to pay off the car so at least i will be out of debt from the car and swap. here is a few pics and list of mods:
car mileage-87000mi
engine trans mileage 30194KM (18700 miles)
Hybrid FMIC and pipeing
kaxian 7500 HID headlights (crystal white)
FAL 240 (dual pusher) fans
KOYO radiator
Power enterprises pulley belts
AEM dry air filter
brand new RB water pump installed
brand new nismo low temp thermostat installed
batter relocation to trunk with power distribution block up front
Ultima red top battery
renova cooling panel
SYKO RB install kit and wireing service used
300ZX fuel filter
300zx brakes (all 4 with e-brake cables installed and never connected)
300ZX brake cyl resivour
SAFC II installed, never hooked up (was going to hook it up after i got it running good)
3" catco exhaust
NAVAN wing
RSR GT II catback
RSR TI2000 springs
tokiko blues schocks
falken tires (GR beta i belive)
installed (for 1 day) and removed in troubleshooting walbro 255 HP pump
installed (for 1 day) and removed in troubleshooting Nismo FPR
eclipse CD player
replacement small windshield washer fluid resivour

i hate to get rid of it, but i can support it and moveing and being unemployed.

before the swap, now a manual

also have a complete origin streamline kit for it with blinkers, would consider selling it with the car

seriously, you and henry are probly my biggest inspirations in doing my rb25 swap. i dont think i need to tell you this but i will anyway: please dont sell it to some kid thats gonna total it and get himself killed. good luck with the sale if you really want/need to sell it.

I agree. Some youngster will crash and kill himself. Reconsider keeping your car.

the why on the sell:
I am quitting the millitairy and moveing on monday (may 1)
Moveing to Oregon witch lacks a shop for me to cheaply work on it
car currently barley runs and sounds like a lawnmower
i still have to pack up, move out to another place and clean up my place before monday (currently 1/2 way packed)
I don't have little if any mechanic troubleshooting skills to figure this out, i don't have the cash to pay a mechanic to do this as well as keep full coverage (have to since have loan on car), pay the car payments, pay off the loan for the swap and pay the credit card off for the swap AND buy another vehicle to drive in the mean time while this is down cause i am going to be unemployed for a couple of months while i relocate.

so current bills+mechanic bills+second car payments+moveing-my job=need a reliable vehicle.

ever got ran over by a train? that's about the way it feels finding that out today.

Ken, sell that Origin Kit and use the cash to get a long block. At least even if you have to wait to put it in your not going to lose in the end.
