the arrow for my temp gauge is right in the middle, is that a little bit to high? i changed everthing, radiator, hoses, thermostat, waterpump, sending unit, water temp switch, and it's still in the same position, what's your temp on? degrees and arrow position.
thanks in advance.

I've had two 240's and both were always rock solid right in the middle, with 2 different motors in one.

What's your secrect? 4 out of 5 owners says there temp gauge stills in the middle. i was told to disconnect the a/c fan, you know the fan in front of the radiator. i tried using the water wetter additive, does not make a difference on the gauge.

mine stays in the middle as well. never moves. about lowering the temps, why would u want to? thats the optimum temperature for the engine. lowering it is not always good. as long as it doesnt go past 1/2, your fine dude...

You dont want it running cold all the time. The optimum running temp is half like most of the guys are replying. If the car runs cold all the time you will have all kinds of driveability problems. I've seen guys remove thermostats on computer controlled cars and it causes all kinds of problems for the ECU cause it needs to see a certain operating temp for it to function properly.

nah, it's not my first car, just all the HONDA'S i owned stayed at about 1/4.
hey gtfour43 did you find out about my saftey check yet?
i decided to keep my car already, don't think no one is going to buy it, selling the jic's and buying a set of Zeal's or Teins.
placed order for my tension rods and rear control arms already. so i guess i'm locked in keeping the car. gonna finish the block, pistions and connecting rods then turbo the ka and try and sell it again later.

Get me a copy of your cousins papers, mileage and the color and I'll see what I can do. TTYL
