i have a 95

ok i saw this guy with a 1995 240 with a front grill that looked like it was off of a 1997 (much better imo than the stock 95 grill)
i asked him about it and he said that it was a 1996 grills and they are different from the 1995 and that he ordered it from nissan

so i order it from nissan and when the part comes in, its obviously the wrong one and they look at me mystified when i say that the 96 had a different grille than the 95

so is it true that 96 front grille looks like the 97 but fits a 95?
if yes, does anyone have a part number i can order from nissan with?

No, the 96 grille defiantely does NOT look like the 97-98 grille but it IS different than the 95

Here's the 96 front grille, notice it has one big horzontal "lip" at the top instead of 2 smaller ones like the 95.

The 97-98 grille is similar to the 96 but has a vertical peice in the middle

I'll trade you for my grill ( i have a 96)  what color is your car? Anything other than black and I'm a no go...i don't do exterior painting!

hey!!! now now, dont' be knocking on the gold one...
i actually like the colour, the only other colour i was considering was the red... but for some reason they were hard to come by in LE model (SE in the U.S.)

any one figure out the part number?
