Auto questions

Don't see many guys running the Auto A340e, but for the few that are. How did you guys fab up the connection to the shifter on the trans?

I know it hangs off the right side. Did you guys fab something with some flat stock or what?

My 240 is 5-speed and never owned a Auto one so kinda shooting in the dark here when it comes to how the shift linkage is setup.

It's super easy, use the shifter rod from the A340, see where it lines up with the shifter linkage, it will be too long so cut it to match. Cut a hole in the rod to match the 240 hardware and attach it.

Hey guys , putting my car together.(s14 2j) and i realized im going to have an issue with oil filter fitment. I cant fit the oil filter on due to it hitting my motor mount. Does no one use stock motor mounts with this swap. Or can i modify my stock motor mount ?

Your best bet for a piggy back would be a MAP ECU. Doesn't have to be the latest and greatest either.

I have a Map 2 Ecu and both of the sensors (boost control and air intake temp) in perfect condition that I would sell you. I barely got to use it before we rebuilt my motor and put in a Haltech ecu. Let me know if you're interested, I was about to throw it up on eBay.

Getting back into my S13 again since back in April when the trans took a dump on the Dyno. Any thoughts on the Marlin crawler build for the R-154? Worth it?

Question:

So I have a12.7 psi spring in the precision 39mm wg, but the car still seems to boost closer to 15psi and hit boost cut and then it feels like I hit a brick wall. Also in boost my AF is 10 and feels like I'm losing allot of power.

Stock jdm aristo ecu
bws366
Blitz bov(softest setting yet still don't really hear it I don't think)
Pw39 WG
just 3"down pipe, not full exhaust
All vacuums hooked up to a vacuum block hooked up I line with main vacuum on intake manifold.

I'm also having some boost trouble. I have my MBC set to about 10 psi, and for the past few weeks the car has run very well. The past week I've been losing boost specifically at higher RPMs. The car will get to 10 without problems, but drops to 5 psi at about 5.5k RPM, and by the time I reach redline I've only got about 1psi. I've checked for boost leaks up to 13 psi and the system holds. My wastegate spring is set to about 7 psi. Why ideas on why I'm losing so much pressure?

What do you have done fuel wise? Make sure your getting adequate fuel.

I'm fine on fuel, the car isn't going lean at all. It's just that I'm losing boost somehow.

When I bought my MAPECU3 I had zero luck finding anyone who wanted to tune it. Definately make sure your shop will tune for it first bud. I ended up buying a MApecu3 and now I've got a AEM V1 so no issues finding a tuner
