I just got mine right now, that was pretty fast...

Hello,

I currently only have this style made up for right now. These sets will fit s13,s14, 300zx Z32s, and possibly Q45s(still waiting for conformation) Apparrently a lot of the nissan set ups are fairly similar and the only way to know for sure is to see if they will fit on other Nissans.

I can have another style designed and produced but I will need to see if there is a market for me to R&D and go into production.

received spacers yesterday and installed last night. The difference is very noticeable. wheel hop almost eliminated. I'm also able to regain control much easier if I break the backend loose.

A little update: i've installed my spacers, and unfortunately for me, it took a little longer (and was more of a pain) than I'd expected. In just over 2 1/2 hours, I finally got the car back together.

Firstly the original bolts holding the bushings in place were mostly seized, and required insane amounts of force + the use of a breaker bar to free up... on the driver's side I ran into problems w/ the exhaust system getting in the way, and had eventually to remove the rear driver's wheel to get the breaker bar in there... only to find (after inserting the spacer) that there was some force being exerted on that side, requiring me to compress the bushing/spacer combo in order to screw the bolt back on.
With only one pair of hands and a few hand tools, it took a whileeeee and many sore muscles to compress to the point that the bolt's threads would catch.

I was also a little hesitant about my RMS13s bolts being different from those pictured in the instruction (which I assume to be either an S14 or Z32 subframe).

Finally getting a chance to put the car to the test... all I reallly realized was increased road noise and louder gear-shifts with a marginally tighter rear-end. For some reason, it looks like these spacers have actually 'lowered' my car (out back) -- weird.

That said, I didn't really know what to expect (in terms of quantifiable feedback) and am, I suppose, impressed nonetheless. This is my first modification to the 240 other than tires and replacing my damaged fender/headlight ass'y.

In just over 2 1/2 hours, I finally got the car back together.

Firstly the original bolts holding the bushings in place were mostly seized, and required insane amounts of force + the use of a breaker bar to free up... on the driver's side I ran into problems w/ the exhaust system getting in the way, and had eventually to remove the rear driver's wheel to get the breaker bar in there... only to find (after inserting the spacer) that there was some force being exerted on that side, requiring me to compress the bushing/spacer combo in order to screw the bolt back on.
With only one pair of hands and a few hand tools, it took a whileeeee and many sore muscles to compress to the point that the bolt's threads would catch.

I was also a little hesitant about my RMS13s bolts being different from those pictured in the instruction (which I assume to be either an S14 or Z32 subframe).

Finally getting a chance to put the car to the test... all I reallly realized was increased road noise and louder gear-shifts with a marginally tighter rear-end. For some reason, it looks like these spacers have actually 'lowered' my car (out back) -- weird.

That said, I didn't really know what to expect (in terms of quantifiable feedback) and am, I suppose, impressed nonetheless. This is my first modification to the 240 other than tires and replacing my damaged fender/headlight ass'y.

i talked to some guys in japan about the spacers, they said you won't notice that much of a difference on the lower spacers alone, and that typically you'd do both upper and lower... I mentioned that someone said the upper ones were "dangerous", to which I was promptly laughed at, and told by several people taht the only way it could be dangerous would be if you didn't torque down the bolts *shrug*, just FYI guys.

I think you misunderstood. Coilovers can be dangerous. Boost controllers can be dangerous. Its in the tuning and setup. Installing just the lower spacers is the most neutral setup. Using different combinations of upper and lower spacers will tune the geometry of the subframe. Tuning for one will take from the other. Kinda like boost, more boost = more power, more lag, less boost = less power, less lag. The differences can be extreme. While its no big deal to dial in a different boost level, or stiffen your coilovers, most people will not get under their car and swap those spacers around very often. For those that will, it will work out great. As far as not noticing the lower spacers... everyone that I have talked to who has installed the spacers and actually pushes their car, has felt a difference. Most have been blown away.

... and unfortunately I have _not_ ... It is probably the fact that I'm on stock (read: blown/dead/shot) shocks, but the car still hops like a jackrabbit when pushed hard in the turns. It actually feels like I'm about to BREAK something when it hops, too.

Whether or not I'll take them out then reinstall them when I've got my coilovers on (to see if they really made any difference at all) is questionable though, I don't like the sound of going through all the trouble again just to 'feel the difference'.

Hey charles, are you selliing the s14 to z32 brake conversion SS brake lines seperately? I already have z32 upgrade kit, thats all i need. and what about the brake pads?

and also I'm assuming the price is now $79 instead of $65 right?

I dont know how it feels running the spacers with stock suspension, BUT, I definately felt a BIG difference on my car. &nbsp;Maybe because I have suspension? &nbsp;I dont know. &nbsp;Im sure after you get your coilover setup, it should feel way better.
I was also told from a friend in Japan not to run the upper spacer, only because it becomes too rigid and may open up the seams in the frame. &nbsp;He said running the lower ones are fine though...thats why I bought them from Charles! &nbsp;So Im stoked!

hehee, I think this is a double mis-understanding... I was talking about how someone else on here had mentioned they could be dangerous, I really didn't understand how that could be. I can't remember who posted it, but they made it sound as it they were physically dangerous.... ex. handling nitric acid with bare hands is dangerous... that sort of thing.

I didn't see how it could be that way, but i'm not one to tell someone they're full of sh!t when I have no experience, so I posed the idea to people I knew would know, which is why I was laughed at. They just re-enforced my original thoughts.

Just like making any mod, it can be "dangerous" if you're not used to the change, or drive around as if you hadn't changed anything... I've messed with my coils more that the average guy I'm sure <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> on every surface and angle I can find, just to see what it feels like to drive with such a change <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
