A tone old people are too old to pickup, and piercing to the youth.

I'm 24, decreased hearing and have tenitus and i can still hear it fine. kill bill whistle for the win as a ringtone, almost everyone doesn't realize that it isn't someone whisteling until i pull out my phone.

I can't hear anything on the street corner audio. But the ring tones and the test tone I can hear. They hurt my teeth.

Vibrate is to loud these days. People look at you like you have a vibrator in your pants.

What ever happened to the pezo device the would give you a lite zap when the phone rang.

I could here it, though it was not the most present with all the background noise. I then looked up a site with the ring tone set at different khz to see how high I could here it. I heard everything but the 20k tone. Thing is 2Ok is like at the utmost upper reachs of human hearing period. If anything the ringtone is downright annoying its like having a ear test.
Ya, I am a sound engineer and my ears have been through hell and I am old enough to be a parent. It still did not fool me.
