i'm not sure not feasable this is. it would take a pretty big panel and alot of material. but the design would be rather simple considering it would only have to really be bolted on at 4 corners.

just an idea
Origin makes this. Have you ever made a carbon fiber B-pillar for the S13? If so how much will that cost?

We have a B Pillar mold project nearly finished. Had an issue with one of the pillar molds. But soon.

I have the Origin CF trunk lip spoiler on my Coupe. Fit was decent, but I'm planning to paint over the CF. It's ok, but I've seen better. Kognitions work has looked great in everything I've seen so far. I'll be sure to review it when I have a piece in hand, and post it here. I'm certain it'll be high quality.

It looks like Origin Japan doesn't make the rear CF seat delete for the S14's?

Carbon/honeycomb race trunk S14

This trunk was just made for our S14 track car. It uses 20 oz. triaxial carbon on both sides, and a top layer of 6 oz. twill carbon. The triaxial is so heavy gauge, that it leaves fabric waves in the top surface, so we add the twill layer to smooth and fill in the surface. The twill is also extremely strong even though it is mostly used for visual effect on parts. This trunk weighs 5 lb's. And as you can see, does not feature the rear brakelight mount area. I did that to allow cabin air into the turbulent air stream behind the car. But a separate panel will be made on production parts to attach the rear brakelights. This part has very high compression load qualities for large wings. And won't buckle.

If someone wanted this item, can it be ordered? Do they ship internationally or would someone have to go through one of their reps here in the US to get it? I like the fiberglass and i bet you can paint it to match the car. Would be wicked for a show car/street car.

Yes, the hoods originally come out as dry finish laminates. I am using one layer of fine weave 9oz. glass, and one layer of 6 oz. twill carbon per laminate. So there are two of these laminates on each side of the aluminum honeycomb core.
We have to use the glass because carbon touching aluminum causes galvanic corrosion (electrolosis) , so it acts as barrier and fuctions as strucural at the same time. It is really rare that we mess up a carbon weave pattern.... and that was when i ran on full caffeine, now i am half caf
I will finally be able to run the hood on track in a week from now, i need to find any weak points and address them before making this hood available for sale. I will of course post my results here after the Redline Time Attack .

rear seat delete? waste imo

a lot of you guys have big wants, but i don't think if it was made, some of you wouldnt fork out the change worthy of the work

no offense just keeping it real

anyway got a double din carbon gauge panel from mike @ kognition the other week

super bad ass, super strong with the honeycomb

not flimsy like the regular cf panels that other people use

i'll eventually throw up pics, gotta redo the gauges first

get one for your car!

Yes, we are shut down for the remainder of the year to get some seat time in, and test some new parts. And we have new dealers in the wings chomping at the bit, so we had to shut the site down in order to not get behind.
I just got home from Arizona tonite from a day of track testing our finallized splitter and airdam kit for the 350Z. A major downforce adder, we took it up to 130mph at Firebird several times today. If you guys know of or have seen our meter panels, this air splitter is made the same way. Just using a more vibration resistant adhesive for laminate bonding to the honeycomb.
