My daily s13. Im going to try to track down a used passenger seat to match my bucket, or a r32 seat.

So I've got plans to dye my rear seats, and likely my carpet as well. What do you guys recommend for that? I've heard incredibly mixed reviews as far as using an aerosol can for the job, and I'm really not willing to risk it just to try and save a couple bucks.
Are there professional dyes out there that I can put into a real HVLP paint gun?
Would it make more sense to take the covers off of the seats and "dip dye" them?
I've considered getting a new carpet, but I've also heard mixed reviews on aftermarket molded carpets. I figure dyeing the carpet should be ok considering the infrequency of use (it's a weekend car in the summer) and that I'll have floor mats anyway.

Thanks in advance guys!

I dyed my carpet and was happy with the result. Just vacuum and steam clean it.

I wouldn't do the seats though.

Are there any fixed-back Bride seats that are tall enough for a 6'1" person?

If you are concerned about head room most all will accommodate you assuming you get the proper rail. You are going to be sitting several inches lower than you would in a oem seat.

I am not so much concerned with head room as I am with the seat not coming far enough up the back of my neck/head. I have an fx1 pro now and it is just the right height. I compared the dimensions of a few bride seats to the fx1 one and they are all significantly shorter

"C" should be what you are looking for then.

fx1 is like 925mm so none are going be quite as tall as yours currently.

My interior as of today. Im trying to go with the modern factory look with LEDs and some sort, still need a few bulbs to be switched. All I'm waiting on are my 180sx floor mats & 180sx cluster.

I think this is a pretty new product for us S14 folks (haven't seen this around the web much)

I think a new uncracked dash would be the preferable option, but since our cars are getting close to 20 years old now, it's going to get more and more difficult to find uncracked dashboards or to prevent a replacement dash from cracking down the road. This seems to be an good option for some folks. I'm debating it myself.

Wait, speedhut has bezels that light up? or is that just a reflection of the light illuminated from the gauge faces?

It's just a reflection from the face and needles. Those brushed aluminum bezels will do that.
