Wow! Why are the prices so cheap!? 300 dollar discount!
How is the Viper 5701? I have a 97 240sx with power windows but no power locking with remote. Would I need to buy a door lock actuator? On the Viper site, it says this one doesn't have Anti-Carjacking (VRS). What is that? Is it something similar to LowJack? Would you have a diagram to install inside the dash? Sorry for all the questions. I just want the best for my car! Last edited by pandaman415; 08-30-2010 at 11:16 PM.. |

Here is the definition from their site: "Anti-Carjacking Feature (VRS) VRS is a user-operated anti-carjacking system. Once activated, if your vehicle is carjacked, 30 seconds later the siren will start screaming for help and the lights will flash. When the carjacker pulls over and turns off the ignition, the starter kill will activate, which should prompt the carjacker to then abandon your vehicle for eventual recovery." The 5701 is a nice system. I prefer the 5901 or 5902 because of the longer range and LCD remote. You can then add additional sensors to any of the Viper systems. I include vehicle specific wiring information that will tell you the wiring colors, polarity and location of all the wires you will need to install the Viper. The Viper system itself will come with its own manual. Thanks, Toby |

Hey man how long are you going to be selling all of these? I ask because it will probably be awhile before I want to buy the stuff since I don't have the shell for my car yet and I won't have one til the spring most likely. And I noticed you're from Normal, IL. I'm from Rochelle so not far at all! haha.

Toby,
I was considering between the 5701 or 5901 but now I'm curious about the 3202 and 3303. Can you tell me more about the last two? The difference between the first two is only the range and the LCD remote, correct? My car is a '93 coupe SE with power window/lock, if that helps. Thanks a lot man. |

I have a 3303 system intalled in my truck. What would I need to add remote start capabilities to the system? The truck has two service compartments on the curb side of the body, I would like to protect them without having to put pin switches on them. Is there an add on module that will detect someone prying on the exterior of thevehicle? What would be the cost of these items, and a additional two way remote?

As far as the side compartments, I usually use magnetic switches... there really is no other good option. They run $5 each. Thanks, Toby |

Hi, I was wondering if I could still get the Viper 5901 with the Digital Tilt Motion Sensor
Glass Break Sensor. I will be installing this into a 2006 Toyota Sienna LE so would like to know if I would need a key pass module and what else it would take to be able to operate the one side power sliding door and rear hatch release. If everything is in stock could I get a final quote? I know shipping is included but would be going to zip 93720. Thanks. |
