Great job, I really like it, does it look like it blend into the rear bumper? Almost coming in flush or are you going to have an engineered/on purpose body line there much like the xenon products do?

YAY UPDATE! Don't worry I haven't forgotten...the weather was great this weekend and I finally got the chance to mount the part on one of my cars. I finally had the chance to add the extension piece. I didn't get the chance to sand anything down, but this will give everyone a better idea how the lip looks in real life on the car. More pics are on my website. Here's a few to keep everyone happy!

Ya i know i failed..... but i had just washed my car and had my lip and grill painted. I was in a rush to get pics up for Virgil and I was getting ready to goto a meet. I'll most likely detail my car again tomorrow or sometime this week, and get some new pics up.

I would if I still had this mounted, but it's off the car since I'm detail blocking the part. I wont show the rest of the car until the other parts are done...kind of hush hush at the moment as I have few other goodies made.

I'll let you know once I'm ready to push the V2 grill into production. Most likely I'll only produce a small amount of these if the interest is there.

I would love to ship the Germany but the cost to ship this part would be as much as the lip itself. It wouldn't make too much sense for the buyer.

There will be some "slight" curvature added. For the most part, this will be for the bottom side of the lip to keep it from looking too "square" or "sharp". I will say it's a very hard bodyline I'm using, but it should flow pretty well.

gotcha. yeah, i was thinking that it would end up being smoothed a bit more, but i was just curious as to what lines you were going after. it should look great.

well yeah, obviously. however, i would imagine that the development cost of paying for a bumper you won't use on your personal car, and then making a lip that will not have a high demand is hard to get excited for. things take effort to produce, and it's pretty easy for a consumer to ignore that fact.

he doesn't need to buy one, maybe just borrow one from a friend or whatever..I mean he was gonna borrow a car anyway. He already has a lip for the zenki and i'm sure that the demand for that wouldn't be much higher than the kouki, hell he could probably just modify the existing zenki lip to fit the kouki bumper, it couldn't be that much different.

i don't want to make this into an off topic discussion, but what makes you think that if he doesn't have a friend with a car that has a jdm kouki bumper, that he has a friend with just a jdm kouki bumper laying around? as far as the zenki lip goes, all zenki's in america come stock with a zenki front bumper. the jdm kouki needs to be bought and converted. so. just any random person with a stock zenki can buy that lip. a jdm kouki lip is a specific part for a specific person. ya heard? besides, if you just wanted to buy a modified zenki lip for your kouki, why don't you just modify it yourself? as you said, it couldn't be that much different, right?
