What was the point of this post?? Everyone hates on the mustangs doing that, and everyone is giving this kid a hard time for puttin a Datsun badge on his car. Yet you posted trying to defend him. You basically said its ok if you want to fuck monkeys, because people fuck dogs all the time. One wrong is not offset by sighting another wrong, it doesn't validate either. You should really take a philosophy class, I suggest logic and fallacies.

Does that mean that everynoe hates the 240sx and PS13 Q's with a gt-r front grill, chuki or facelift side skirts, 180sx lip or aero front bumper, and spats that came from the K's model s13? You're comparing apples to oranges.

The Nissan s13 was sold as a Nissan s13 all over the world.

Nowhere in the world sold the s13 as a Datsun.

Now if you had say a car like an Acura RSX, putting Honda Integra badges on it would be acceptable.

Why you ask? Because some places in the world rebadged the Honda as an Acura.

You would be fine to put on a silvia badge if you had a silvia front.

I never said it was a Datsun tho... ? i put the badge on because Datsun (in my mind) is like the oldschool nissans like the fairladys and sunnys, And doesn't Nissan own Datsun anyway? Another reason is just because of the badge itself, it looks so much like the silvia font and it suits the car better than some shitty nissan sticker. If you have a problem, say it.

I bought a redtop motorset with shot bearings and it had Datsun on the Valve cover. It came that way on the 180 when it was imported from Japan.

does that offend you ? most likely not. it's an emblem. Datsun is the old Nissan so he's not totally wrong here.



IF he put a Chev/ford/mitsubishi emblem on, THAT would give just cause for being mad.
