Thank you sir, I wasn't feeling them at first, but they have definitely grown on me.

Here is a picture of my 98 kouki. It's all stock for now, however, I just went and gave her a 2 stage polish, followed with a glaze, then sealant, after that I put on 2 coats of lava wax, then 2 coats of 5050 wax. These are the results.

do you have any close ups on your brakes? I've been thinking about painting mine VHT cast aluminum, and hopefully coming out to look like what you have there

They are good now but when you find the time to swap the lenses over to the clear vertex style it will help a ton with the down the road intensity and the cutoff sharpness. The glare will go away too

Anyone running HID in the stock housing notice the light output is severely lacking?
I can barely see. Is it better with halogen bulbs? I'm seriously considering going back to some cool halogens. |

An hid projector retrofit is the only way to go man. Half of the kouki s14 retrofits I do when I open up the stock housings the reflective coating inside the projector is severely peeling or hazed over which is obviously something that's going to affect output. A simple projector retrofit is something anyone with basic mechanical know how can do. There are a lot of how to's out there I know but I'd be happy to do another in depth write up for anyone who's interested.

Yes, and that is the best way to do a retrofit for a kouki IMO. I don't recommend doing the retrofit in the aftermarket housings themselves because the quality is lacking, but I have obviously still done it a number of times. I'll be happy to post a how to with the oem headlights then. Sorry for taking this OT!
