The fact that there's about 4 feet of wheel gap give-or-take doesn't help matters.

Needs more low to be truly Shakotan. Going to get an oil cooler setup soon

Please don't.

Unless you have the perfect wheels, ride height, aero bits, and all the other nuances just right, I guarantee it will look stupid. Kinda like putting a huge GT wing on an otherwise stock car. Just don't.

Neat wing though.

I will someday. Ofcourse you can't just bolt on one thing and expect the whole image to come out; everything has to come together harmoniously. Need some nice 15" deeps with a bit of tire stretch. Lower my coilovers more. As far as aero goes, that wing and maybe some fender flares or overfenders will do it. Then paint the whole car.

It's a WIP.

I would mount that wing by mounting bolts onto the underside, and bolt them to the hatch on both sides. You will have to do some drilling to get it right.

Freakin' A Jon... Those Longchamps are so good. When you gonna get the body straight? It's about the only thing you've got left to do.

edit: Also looking at that side profile, I think it'd look good with a little duckbill spoiler.

Bought this nasty set of 16x9.5 +32 ARE 398 wheels on Craigslist recently. They had at least three layers of spray paint on them. Terrible.

I took them apart, stripped everything to bare aluminum, had the faces redrilled from 5x4.75 to 5x4.5, repainted the faces a dark metallic grey, cleaned the bolts with a few rounds of aircraft stripper, and refinished the lips with wetsanding polishing. They came out nicely.

Oh, by the way, I know this thread tends to be anti-ebay, buuuuuuuuuut I just came across these today.
- 15x9.5 +25
- 16x8.5 +0
- 16x9.5 +0
- Come in both 4-lug and 5-lug
- Range from $550 to $680 for a full set

Not half bad. *shrug*

They turned out pretty good. I'm not actually going to use them on this car though since they each take about 65mm worth of spacers to sit flush, haha. Not sure what I'm going to do with them.

My set will be here in 2-3 weeks. Silver/Silver 15x9.5 +25, running 215/60, just got my S13 back from paint and body. Flares on it now too.

NS had them tied up in Customs. Ordered mine from Spencer @

Those tires will look stupid. I'd personally do 195/55 but thats purely for looks. I wouldn't go larger then 205/55 which should look something like this

Or else your car will look like this, like your rollin' on balloons.

You can use this website for approximating stretch and fitment: http://www.willtheyfit.com/

Up to you though.

Thanks, it's not my ideal set up, but it was what came on the ZX wheels and they have a TON of tread left. So, sadly it is what it is... for now...

Here is what I am going from and to:

and your recommendation from the picture:

It will look a little "Balloon-esque"

*Changed wheel width for visibility

They're bbs style 5, 16x8 +0, (the 5x120 to 5x114.3 adapter is 20mm), I'm on 195/45 tires, spl rucas in the rear to get as close to zero camber as possible, which made them a little more flush than they'd normally be.

I've been so on the fence with paint. I dunno haha. Gold may not be aggressive enough for future plans.

I had 14's one time, mid 2010. The day I installed my fortune auto's right out of the box without removing any collars the front frame rails were sitting on the street and I couldn't drive it -_-
