saddest thing about that, is if he some how gets that shit to even "fit" ( by fit i mean with all that ricer camber and pull he intends on doing) all the fanboys are going to jock and its going to get hella noteriety on interwebs. like that retarded mazda 3 i posted with the stupid camber on mb battles.

That looks sooo bad now, but i know 5-7 years ago that was the trend. because when "the fast and the furious" came out, hellasunk chrome wheels and neon underglow lights were the shit, but now we all think thats rice. Now the trend is Factory JDM Aero, hellaflush wheels, and stretched tires. But im not talking down, i myself love the look of what is now the current trend, and have that on my personal car. All im saying is that the shit thats "IN" is only in style for a limited time and most of the cars that are pictured in this thread are still stuck in the previous car trend. Wait a few years and youll see hellaflush and stretched tires will become the new "rice".

The other day I saw an all stock new two door Toyota solara go super slow and sideways over a railroad, like he was slammed or something. Lol'd pretty hard, some *SNIP* thinking he's a BA in his super low car :kehe:

There are those of us who thought that was rice then too. i went to the first F&F on opening night with a large group and we all laughed through the whole movie at the massive amounts of rice dumped onto every car featured. Quote:
Shit some of the owners of such "iconic" cars have stated they regret their ghetto stardom in this very thread. Sorry to break it to you guys but the tuning "scene" asi t were, did not start in '05

For those of you who all went to the 2010 Spocom show in Long Beach, I'm sure you remember this car:
![]() mini TV integrated into the exhaust, higher-end brand names for non-existent parts, tachometer hooked up to an ebay grounding wire kit, sesame street big bird feather dash and interior trim, and a BOV attached to the intake... (and let's not forget the hand-painted beach bike of his lol). amazing how the moment SpoCom dropped their 'quality control' policy, gems like that appear. |

that miata is horrible. lol. he should get a ticket for that? |

![]() This person is not on the way to a place to go cycling, but is using it for added appreciative value. I would like to see roof racks used like this.... but this could be just another way to say "hey I'm so rich, I find a new way to spend money, by showing off more of my property unnecessarily" ![]() BUT! This one shot in particular, is on the way to the track. Though anyone can fake the funk this way.

^^^^ I agree with you. Roof racks for fashion are pointless but I want one so I can load my snowboarding gear when the seasons around but even still I would take it off when I'm not using it. It's convenient when used properly is what I'm trying to say really

Roof racks were pretty useful when they first started comin' around, as not only could you actually have a functional place to store extra stuff, but if your car was already a sleeper, you'd make it look even less like a car that'd be involved in a street race as far as cops are concerned.
a shame it's no longer the case at this point. I don't consider extreme negative camber or roof racks as rice, as rice IMO is Race-Inspired-Cosmetic-Enhancements. negative camber was simply bored Japanese delinquents wanting to do something more ostentatious to their vehicles while still breaking vehicle laws (spoilers can't be higher than x height, mufflers can't be louder than y decibels, etc.). |

Its funny how roof racks are purely just a style... and then people who dont wanna seem like they got the roof rack for a purpose they get a bike thats been sitting in the garage for a couple years and put it on and ust drive around.... its like just install rack if you really need them not for stupid shit like to loo cool it doesnt even look good in the first place on almost any car in my opinion. we got yakima racks on my 86 toyota land cruiser and thats all thats acceptable IMO.
