I really liked the first season but hated the second season. After they did that to her, the "im in love with my cousin/brother thing", having 0 character development, that one scene with octopus dudes, all Deus Ex Maxima saves, and most importantly not having the dying in game = dying in real life killed it.

I found the whole idea of the first season nuts because when I was little I played a bit of MMOs. Then second season was just anime trope party. Didnt even bother watching season 2.

Was just as much of a bummer as Akame Ga Kill

When I was staying in Ft Worth they had one at a local drive-in. I had people throwing shit at my car when I had to leave early in the middle of the movie for a small emergency. Apparently straight piped SRs and drive-ins don't go so well together... lol

Finished Black Lagoon last night, very cool old school/nitty gritty feel to the whole series, not sure the plot was anything to write home about though. 7.5/10

Finished the main series also yesterday. Im on the ova now, I felt the ending was so anticlimactic but the ova restored that. Was really refreshing and "real"

The rock/revy ship really bugs me and after the ova there isnt anything more since the manga has been on hiatus so I doubt there will be a season three.

Haven't watched the OVAs yet but I agree with you about the ending of the og series. I think the ending matched the overall tone of the series though...

Yeah you got a point. Just finished the OVA and damn. If you liked the series then youll love the OVA. Its turned up the scale quiet a bit and rocks development is nuts. Ending of the OVA was also pretty anticlimactic and kinda weird. It comes to this big ending but the resolve just dies where everything is "normal" if that makes sense.

Sadly I want more but there is nothing there is no worse feeling than finishing a show and knowing there is nothing left to watch....

Im going to read the manga, hopefully soon the author pumps out a couple more volumes and the show continues.

They just need to finish NGE at this point. I love the rebuild movies but commonnnnnnn. Im glad I only watch it last year, I would of been a pissed off fan waiting if I watched 10+ years ago.

Also I watched some Makoto movies uniroincally since someone brought up your name coming out BUT never have I ever wanted to go back in time and tell myself please do not watch... 5 centimeters persecond ending was just so UGHHH and not even 10 minutes ago finished The Place Promised in Our Early Days which was anticlimactic x10000. Music/visual are great but holy fuck are these movies horrible in plot.

Im not sure if its in me to bother watching garden of words.

Nah its goes the original series and ending with psychological mind fuck of shinjis head, then the "second ending" called End of Evangelion which is another end or retelling of the last two episodes, then I shit you not 10 years later they decide to redo/remake the series but as movies.

First movie is Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone which was in 2007, then Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance in 2009 and then the 3rd and most current one is Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo in 2012.

The movies are "canon" but some think its a continuation since there are little hints and should close the whole franchise up nicely. The last movie has been ghost for years and took 4 years to do the 3rd movies dub. Hopefully it comes out next year making the series ending 20 years old.

The movies are basically the show being redone. But this time around they decided to change the story to their liking which imo the 3rd movie killed it. I hope the ending is a mind fuck though. The maker of the rebuilds did a music video called me!me!me! Which was a mindfuck so I have my hopes up

Also same, im so tired of my 240 lately so many little issues. Get this, I got WS harness and wired my ka24de to z32 maf since I was running it before my engine rebuild. Turns out WS purposely switched the maf ground & 12v wires and I blindly wired the adapter to the normal oem pinout without double checking the harness. So evidently I fried my ecu being my oem harness ground was touching the WS 12v maf wire...

Tried talking to them and didnt want to help. Said there harness arent to "FSM" and we should of called them even though when you do you just leave your number down and they call you whenever and there is 0 instructions on the site for the ka harness... Plus im running blow through so kinda stupid to buy a 40 dollar adapter from them when im going to have to exend wires to run the maf before my intake. Owner didnt help out at all and said if I want I can send them the harness and they can charge to fix it. It says the harness is "OEM" but they go and switch the maf wires which isnt OEM and no where does it say its switched. The only thing they say to switch or use is the s14 02 sensor since its a 3 plug and not single in the s13 OEM harness.

So im sitting with shitted 350$ harness, my fired ecu which I just got a new tune for e85/pump for 1000cc gone down the drain... Plus im not sure if my main engine harness is dicked somewhere else or any of my relays are blown.

After reading ahead on Rezero past the ending, I realized the ending was pretty weak. They catered it to everyone who like happy endings. The series was enjoyable but I give it a 7/10 would rematch later date
