at nissan for seatbelt replacement

long story short seatbelts stopped working. brought it to local nissan dealer. they tried to bullshit and say it didnt have a warranty guy was real pissy and rude. But I already prepared for this and did my homework I had a folder fullof the warranty information and threw it down and if that wasnt enough I had number to nissan warranty head quarters. he stopped and read through the folder and left made a call and came back and gave me a work order to sign. Ive been here for almost a hour my car is in a bay to be inspected but no one has touched it yet....

Too bad you don't have the option of converting to the manual seat belts like on the Canadian 240sx's.

Having seat belts like this:

Instead of those outdated-how-are-these-safe automatic seatbelts.

well my car is done it took about a hour and a half the jerk I dealed with personally inspected it. parts are ordered and after the inspection he personnally appologized to me for his rudeness he is going through a divorce right now and its hsrd on him. so he then offered to let me test drive one if the 2 nismo z's on the lot. so we took a drive across town and spit stories back and forth. then returned to the dealership. he told me if the replacement service takes longer than a day he will supply me with a rental free of charge. so hes no longer a dick! now

Awesome that the guy ended up being cool. Everyone has a bad day, glad he was able to save face and be honest with ya!

was simple for me. Friend bought shell for sr swap in it for cheap, i helped swap it out, friend gave me canadian seatbelt setup. A-pillars, B-pillars, seatbelts, and headliner. Sooooo much cleaner looking, and i feel way safer, ha

They gave me the same run around when I had the belt replaced on my b13. I would have just converted it to manual belts. But there isn't a swap for the b13. 2 of my 3 road drive s13s have jdm seat belts. Still looking for another set for a coupe
