HELP - HLSD Output Shafts - Zilvia.net Forums | Nissan 240SX (Silvia) and Z (Fairlady) Car Forum

Well

It looks like I'm on my last leg here, so I'm coming with my tail between my legs and begging the folks on Zilvia to step forward if they can assist.

I am helping a friend with his project car. We were installing his HLSD and it appears we have the wrong output shafts. I have the 29-spline shafts (agh) and need the JDM 30-spline shafts.

I know a few people that have the LH (105mm long) 30-spline shafts, but no one seems to have the RH (97mm short) 30-spline shafts. Here is a photo for those who are confused:

If anyone has a RH (short) shaft that they are interested in selling, please PM me. It appears my only solution right now is to either special order / EMS the short shaft from Japan or machine down the long shaft which, to be honest, I dont feel comfortable with.

Fuck.

You check with russell over at Nissanparts.cc?
They used to keep a couple sets in stock.

All dealers have been inquired with, none in stock in USA as far as I know.

Motorsports is also special order with 4-6 week lead time. I'm better off going through NISSAN Japan w/ express mail service.

This is a total shit situation.
