I've never done a retro in jdm housings but it should be the same as any other projector retrofit in a reflector housing. The mounting/adjustment points may change slightly from USDM housings I imagine.

I would like to run the pbm hmic which would require relocating the motor for the flip ups and fabricating new arms like this.

Also I'm a bit worried about debris breaking the lens. I've been told to make wire mesh and a couple of other weird ideas. The only thing I can think of is retrofitting some casing around the hid but I'm not sure that casing will withstand the heat and you don't want to have vents let moisture in.
that guy wanted $200 for just brackets and arms alone...

i need a retrofit h4, i figured i'd use those brackets.

anyone want to make some for me lol

That's an H3C bulb.

I asked this same question in 2010

What bulb is this?

Just finished up my X5M retrofit into the JDM kouki headlights. Wired up the bixenon solenoid and using the old high beam housings as fog lights.

just like there is no such thing as a xenon bulb for halogen enclosures (h1, h4, etc). but if you search ebay, you'll find plenty of illegal, non-compliant, flawed junk online...

its all CHEAP SHIT, no different than the godspeed intake manifolds

Anyone know where I could find a set of stock s13 triple projector headlight covers? The PO of my headlights decided to replace the factory ones with clear ones and I'm thinking thats why my headlights are pretty much worthless from a functional standpoint. Right now they only cast a little bit of light about 5ft. Shits weak.
