Start with a simple black like toyota 202 and add a little more blue and a touch of red to it until you get the color you want
OR Start with the same black and hit up some blue/purple candy over it. The more you lay over it, they more it will show up. Bottom line, without doing pearls you probably won't get the color you are striving for, but if you get a black tristage you can add some of the black base into the pearl coat to "dim it down" a little |

No thoughts, big suggestion though, they will look like total shit single stage
You can get Aston colors all day long, it's the super car colors that are hard to get ahold of |

Single stages will NEVER look as good as 2 stage, literally. The ONLY single stage that is really worth a shit is made by Spies Hecker, it still doesn't look as good as base/clear. The reason being is you really can't cut and buff a single stage like you can with a 2 stage, the other problem is you cannot make the single stage lay out as nice as a 2 stage, even with my amazing sata paint guns it just doesnt happen. |

i find single stage metallics to be really annoying and i dont use them. for straight white or simple colors its fair game but with base/clear available i dont see the point in not doing multi stage. also customers pretty much all want a base/clear system, someone on TV told them thats what they need i guess.
current long-term headache:

Multi-stage is somewhat reserved for higher end cars like lexus and such, luxury cars, i greatly doubt you will be able to achieve an identical, or near, finish with a single stage paint. It just isn't the same

anybody have some nice recommendations for a maroon/purple color? I'm looking for a mix between revgasm's new color and a midnight purple-ish.
there was once a picture i saw where a 180sx was jacked up from behind, but you can only see the front of the car head on, and half is in shade/under a small pit-garage and the bumper is in the sun... THAT color

But the colors are very very similar (having seen both in person). Millennium jade is a bit lighter and more gold.

Looks really off to me. I dunno
Still considering painting my coupe that color. Has anyone got the color codes for the JDM "Aces/Almighty" 2-tone? I have been looking for it forever.

I wasn't sure if I should ask in this thread or in the pic request thread, but this seemed right. Does anyone have a pic of a s13 coupe with a silvia front in a sunburst orange pearl color, or something close to it? I found a few pics of orange 240's, but not quite what I've been looking for. Thanks in advance.

100 percent sure this is a screenshot from gran turismo or forza LOL I do like the zipties in the rear bumper. but the license plate and tree's kinda give it away. |

Nah, not a screenshot, it's just photoshopped. Very cool color, though.

I know this is a shot in the dark but does anyone know the color-code of Matt Powers 2009 Zenki
Really can't see it being a Nissan color code. It's quite light or appears to be in sun. Maybe I could buy the emerald green and mix it with something? Ideas, Thoughts?

Ultimate Opal Black
Available on 09+ Spec V's GTR's. Looks crazy, anybody seen it in person? Still cant decide on paint colour, either this [LAC] or LP2 or a gunmetal.
