You need to include specs if you post in here. It's not a photo whoring thread.

Are there any decent looking high offset 17x9.5 wheels out there? I have a pair of corvette saw blades 17x9.5 +56 with 275/40 that I mounted one to the hub with one lug and used a jack to see how it sits in the wheel well. It cleared with no roll (I have a little camber but not much). Cleared the coilover as well.

I could just run a set of draglite's with radials but I daily my car and don't want to take away from that. I was going to run a 245 front, 275 rear but may just settle with a 245/255. I don't track the car (I need a rollbar/cage) so the stagger wouldn't bother me handling wise.

yeah, that looks superb. i love the concave look on the rears. too bad a square setup with the rears wouldn't fit under the stock front sheet metal.

What are the widest fender options for an S13? I was originally going to do koguchi reps when I thought they were +70mm front and rear but I learned they're only +50mm front. I don't think that's enough for the 315's I hope to fit front and rear.

So I was just reading the Overfenders Guide thread, and I guess I just don't get it. Why would you put on overfenders if you are still going to run a 215? Stretched looks like shite, tiny little tread width with the lip of the rim sticking out a 1/2". It makes your car look like it has bowling balls for wheels. This is what passes for style?!! Fugly.

I was going to post in that thread, but thought you would understand better.

A little bit of stretch is alright, but some of those cars are just ridiculous. To each there own I guess, but it blows me away that there is a huge following for that crap.

alright need a little advice from the fitment gurus... I just got a set of ZE40s for my S14. they are 18x9.5 +22 up front and 18x10.5 +24 out back. Car has K&W Variant 3's and the fronts clear with about 10mm. I was thinking of running a toyo R888 255/35/18 up front and a 295/30/18 out back... Car has all stock sheet metal, but I plan to roll and pull.

So should it be a 275/35/18, 285/30/18 or a 295/30 18 out back?

Car will be used for time attack and should make 550 to 600 at the tire.

295/30/18 is what I use 18x11 +30 mild roll/pull and about 1.5* of camber. If you did a bigger pull you could do 305/30 no problem.

So I've made it to page 22 and still have no good idea of what I can fit on the back of my s13 hatch with a stock body, I'm wanting to do 17x8 +?? front and looking towards 17x9 +35? for the rear wrapped in a 265/35 or 40 tire out back. This should be doable with just a roll yea? I want as much tire as I can get under the ass w/o destroying the body because I just did an LS1 swap.

you won't find any 35 profile tire in 265 or 275 in 17's.
that's more like 18" wheel tire size. But you do have decent amount of options with 265/40/17 or 275/40/17.

Nitto NT01 or NT05's would provide you with more then enough grip with 265 out in rear. Bridgestone RE760 is a decent option that will provide long tire life with decent grip, even Continental ExtremeContact would be very fitting for that tire size.

just going by your wheel size, these sizes should be suit you well.

235/40/17 on the 17x8 wheel
265/40/17 on the 17x9 wheel

those tires will be very square on your wheels, and will require the fender lips to be absolutely flat IMO. but I would like to encourage you to find a bit wider wheel, 17x9 in front and 17x10 in rear. it would suit the tire sizes better.

255/40/17 on a 17x9 +35 (Rear) Bridgestone RE-11A

275/40/17 on 17x9 +35 (rear) Mickey Thompson ET Streets which run quite wide

I think the hatch actually has an easier time fittings tires over the coupe. The rear of the coupe tapers slightly more than the hatch. I have one of each and that's my personal observation.

255s on 17x9 +35 is my favorite sort of s13 fitment. With a 10mm spacer they fit in front, too.

Still looking for a good street tire in 255/40 less squared to help tuck into the fender, and camber the rest in. Rubber in photo is 275/40.(purchased wheels w/these already on).
17x10 approx+25

Fronts are 17x8.5 +20 but haven't been mocked up due to the car still being 4lug.
