how about 18x10 & 18x11 +9 all around on s14 kouki
thinking 235/35/18 and 255/35/18 for tires
how much camber do you think I'll have to run on stock metal with a good roll\pull?

Fronts will fit no problem with the lip flattened. Rears will need ~-3 camber and a slight pull.

This is ~-2.5 camber with a 255/40/17 BFGs on a 17X11 +12.

Front shot:

The fronts in those photos are 17X10 +7 with 245/40 S-Drives and ~-2.7 camber.

Hey knoop, is there a reason you run such a wide front tire other than it being grippier? I have 17x10 +0 front and am thinking of running a 225/45 dz101. Couldn't you step down a size in the rear too so the pull wouldn't be to far out? I'm not critisizing just asking cause your shit looks dope as it is.

I ran that size because I wanted as much tire as I could fit. It was awesome drifting with 245s up front too...I wasn't runny a crazy grippy tire though. I am on 235/40s NT05s up front now which I love. They're retarded grippy compared to any other tire I've used. I've heard great things about Star Specs as well.

Either way, I'd recommend a 235/40 over a 225/45 just because it has a shorter sidewall, the tires overall height is smaller so you'll have more clearance.

Or should I go with a 9 or 9.5" in front. I really don't want to run staggered at all. But if a 10" +18 is not worth the effort, then what would be a better stagger 9 or 9.5"?

For sure run a 9 up front. A 9 +12 with a 215 fits just about perfect on a stock body S13 up front. You could go with a 9.5 up front, but with the limited room S13s have you'll have a much easier time with fitting the 9J.

I loved the way my S14 felt when I was running 17X9s all around...so you don't have to stagger if you don't want to. A 9/10 stagger is fine, but I'd be more inclined to do a 9/9.5 stagger if you decided to run a staggered set up.

hey, im new to zilvia. i had a question regarding a problem im having atm.

i've just lowered my s13, but on the front in the wheel well my tires are rubbing directly on the wheel well wall, also rubbing against the rubber stopper that the harness enters.

im running on 18 x 9 +15 w/ 225/40/zr18

i need a solution to this problem ASAP, what can i do to modify the wheel well possibly?

thanks.

What do you guys think of 17x9 +35 F and 17x10 +20 R on an s13 hatch, right now it's slammed on 16's so I'm sure I'll have to raise it up some. I'm looking for a pretty flush stance with maybe -2 or -3 camber. Will I need spacers? Will it fit in the first place? And what about tires? Right now my JIC's are as stiff as possible and I don't rub the 16's.

You'll need a 15mm spacer up front (you could run a 20mm with my tire suggestion), no spacer in the rear.

I'd recommend a 215/40 up front and a 235/40 out back.

If you only wanted to run a 15mm spacer over the 20mm up front go with a 215/45 but it will limit how low you can be because S13s are pretty limited for space and a 215/45 is just tall enough to keep you from really slamming it.

You may need a slight pull out back, but if you're going to run ~-3 camber you should be able to fit it.

how many inches should I drop it

I dont want to have it slammed or rubbing everything under my fenders.
was thinking just tein 1.8, 1.5 springs will work. or should I take Eibach 2.2, 2.1springs. they are 18" wheels 205/35/18. thinking about getting some 225/40/18
still getting car together.

Here's some pics for reference.

Setup is as follows:
Stock S14 fenders
17x10 +5
10mm spacers
Stance GR+ pro coils

225/45-17 is actually fairly spot on to the stock diameter for OEM S14 wheels.

What are you running for shocks? Stock shocks are not gonna keep up with the Eibach springs for sure. For as much money you'll spend, might as well get an entry level coilover and not slam it.

new to wheel fitment and 240sx, i dont have to much knowledge on this stuff so your help is appreciated! anyways, i was just wondering if
1) i will need spacers, and if so roughly what size
2) if i will need to roll/pull fenders
3)will i need to buy camber kit

i have a stock s14 zenki,it is my dd. i am putting on kw v3 coilovers. rest of suspension is stock thus far.
i will be running rota p45rs, 18x9.5 +30 all around.
front tires will be 225/40/18
rears will be 225/45/18

everything is in peices right now, nothing is put on the car, im waiting for my wheels to get powdercoated to start slapping this stuff on...

i would really like to know, ahead of time, if i will maybe need spacers or start looking into fender rolling.

thanks

Don't use S15s as reference for S14 fitments since S15s have narrower body lines than S14s. S15 fitments are more like S13s.

As far as fitting that much rubber on 9.5js. I think those are going to be over kill, specially those 315s are 11j-12j width territory.

My question is, do you guys think I can just get away with spacers and roll+pull?

You wont, those wheels are too high of an offset. You'd need ATLEAST 25mm spacers to make them look decent without having to do much with the fenders (roll is always a good idea).

Now I've read up and the back should be ok with a 8mm spacer. But the fronts would need a 10mm spacer. Also gonna run 225/40/18 on all 4.

So is the 10mm good? I've read that a 8mm barley clears, why ima grab a 10.

Flip I know you know this!!
All depends on the coilovers/suspension. 18x10 +18 were perfect for my S14 fronts on Topline Aragostas, didn't need any spacers. PM me if you got any other question...

Thank you very much for the help! I just want to clarify, are you saying with a 25-30mm spacer I could clear coils and stay within the fender or be able to roll if necessary?

Or "you won't" as in, you won't be able to make them fit on OEM fenders?

Side note... you sold a turbo set up a few years ago Gt3071r, HKS EX MANI, HKS actuator... to a guy in Winnipeg, Canada. I'm thinking about buying that set up from him. Any comments? I don't mean to be off topic so pm me if it doesn't belong in thread. Thank you once again for your valued advice.
