Anyone here make their own espresso? I just got a MrCoffee espresso machine. I made some using the Starbucks whole bean and it came out ok. Then I tried their pre-ground and it tasted soo much better. I dont know how fine, or course to make the whole bean.

Whats your secret?? How do you drink your expresso? Mixed with milk? caramel? whaaaa whaa whhjaatt?

cappuccino..and it's espresso. Ground the beans under the "espresso" setting. You can go into a local starbucks and have them ground the beans for you. And uh, use the Espresso beans. If not, use Italian roast if you like it a little bolder. Suggestion for having your beans ground. Only ground for what you will use. For example, if u drink espresso everyday and ure a coffeeholic, ground the entire 1Lb. If not, have the barista weigh it out to four 1/4lb and ground ONE of the 1/4 LB until youre done with that 1/4 lb. Ground coffee is best for only 7 days.
