s14 Volk Gram Lights 57F PRO - Fitment / Offset

Hi,

I`ve searched the board but not found answer to my question, please advise:

Car: Nissan 200SX S14a SR20DET -1998
Wheels: Gram Lights 57F PRO
Suspension: Tein Super Drift
Front brakes: AP 6-pot Calipers, 355mm discs
Fenders: OEM

What will fit my car the best (flush) ? I can roll the edges a little bit, but prefer not to use spacers. And it must clear the coilovers/bigbrakes. And I want as large lip at the rear as possible.

Front:
Size: 18x8
Face: A
Available offset: +18 / +24 / +30
Lip: 55mm / 49mm

Size: 18x8
Face: B
Available offset: +28 / +34
Lip: 55mm / 49mm

Rear:
Size: 18x9
Face: A
Available offset: +12
Lip: 74mm

Size: 18x9
Face: B
Available offset: +8 / +22
Lip: 87mm / 74mm

Size: 18x10
Face: A
Available offset: +12 / +24
Lip: 100mm / 87mm

Size: 18x10
Face: B
Available offset: +8 / +22 / +34
Lip: 100mm / 87mm / 74mm

For the rear, 18x10 Face B +8 / 18x10 FACE A +12 has the biggest lip, will any fo theese fit?! Or what is needed to make them fit?

Please help me out/advise if you can.

Regards
Andreas

18x9 +8 front
18x10 +8 rear

Rolled fenders, slightly stretched tires. Maybe some camber, depending on the tire size you choose.

i agree with the above poster, that combo will give you the greatest amount of lip. Definatley roll the fender you might need a pull but that depends on what tire size you are choosing to run

holy FUCK give us some pictures of those AP calipers!!

you might want to go a little more conservative than that if you don't want to pull.

Hi,

Red Square:
I can still get them, direclty from Rays. Everyone said the same thing when I ordered a set for my MR2 Turbo. But I have to wait 2 months to get them produced, thats all.

EchoOfSilence:
Here is a picture of the brakekit. Sorry for my english, but what is the difference between "pulling" and "rolling" the fender?

Jefferson:
Tires - don`t know yet, i guess I`ll have to test what do fit and not.

Nizzan4u2nv:
Thank you!

So if i choose 18x9 +8 Front and 18x10 +8 Rear, they will clear the coilovers, clear the brakes, and sit nice (not outside the the fender, and not inside, but flush), ?? Kind of much money to just "order and try", thats why I`m asking you, the experts

Regards
Andreas

+ 18 is a more conservative flush (not poking out or requiring roll) Im running 17x9 +25 on my rears and the wheel are about 8-10 mm inside fender

The F 9 +8 and the R 10 +8 will stick out of the fender (with 0 camber) so in that case you might want to go a little higher in your offset, but like I said it all really depends on your suspension setup/settings and your tire choice.
Rolling is literally rolling the little lip that the inside of your fender has to make it flat.
Pulling is when you pull the bottom edge of the fender out if that makes any sense. There is a wheel pic thread that has alot of pics of pulled fenders so you can get the idea

I agree, 10" +8 will definitely stick out of the fenders without roll/pull. Same with 9" +8 without I'm guessing around -2.5 degrees up front probably at least -2 in the back, not so sure about the back.

well, i know Rays still makes them, but in the US they are under a different brand.

here some pics of mine. 18's X 9 & 10 (+22)
they stick out

with the lower disc in the front, it couldnt clear my gt-r brakes or my tein he.

Yeah I run 17x9 +20 on rolled fenders, the 17x10 +12 stick out too much without a pull and the 17x9 +20 arent low enough in the front with the camber I run -2.6* rears are only -1.4* camber My ideal fitment would be 17x9 +14 or so in the front and 17x10 +24 in the rear with a slight pull in the rear. Should be super flush without sticking out too much

You're running that much brake and only wanted to run 8s at first? Where are your priorities?!?

Minimum of 9s up front with 245s. Big brakes aren't worth shit if they don't have the grip to back them up.

s14

Hmm, ok..I really appriciate your advice/help!

KA24DESOneThree:
Theese wheels are for show use only. However, I have zero experience of the width/offsets for the S14, just got the car, thats why I`m asking for help.

Red Square:
Nice looking car!
Have you rolled your 18x10 +22 in the rear?

Jefferson:
Ok, thank you!

Front
18x9 +24 (62mm lip)
Face A
** or should i choose Face A +30 (55mm lip)?

Rear
18x10 +22 (87mm lip)
Face B
** or should I choose Face A +24mm (87mm lip)

Will this be ok?
And with ok I mean that it should clear coilovers, bigbrake-kit, and can be used with "only" rolling and maybe some camber adjustment (no time for installation of wider fenders).

If I understand correctly, the FACE A leaves the most space for coilovers and bigbrakes, so FACE A should be used int he front. While in the back, with standard brakes, it doesn`t matter that much?!

The faces should have nothing to do with coilover clearance... Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Face will determine caliper clearance, offset will determine coilover clearance...and flushness to the fender. A 9 +24 will not clear coilovers up front. You'll need something more like a 9+20 (at least). Personally I would go with something in the +12 or +15 range up front. A lot of this will depend on what size tires you want to run. You can go lower with the offset if you run a more narrow tire (more stretch, more flush also). Depends on how extreme you wanna go.

9 +24 should clear coilovers fine, clears my kei office but I would go lower any substantial camber and the tire will look sunken, go with the +14's and run 235's on them and 255's on the back on 10's +24 or so

57f pro is now owned by RO_JA Motorsports and is now named the R2-5 . pretty much the same wheel. forged barrel cast center construction. be very careful on you TEIN coilover clearence because they are bigger than most other coilovers.

Not to hijack but i'm also looking at some specs for wheels for my Kouki.
18X8 +22 or 18X8.5 +32 (front)
18X9.5 +22

I'm guessing in the front I should run the 18X8 since it has the lowest offset (more lip) I'm running Z32 calipers and MR coils.. Will the 18X8 be too narrow? Also waht tire should I run? I was thinking 235/40 on front and 255/35 on the rear..

Thanks

18x8 +22 and 18x8.5 +32 for the front of an s14 is too sunken for my taste. Id go with 18x9.5 +12 with 225/40 or 235/40 and rolled fenders. Fits perfect IMHO.

We now have bought URAS 20mm wide front fenders.

Will this fit ok?

Front:
18x9 FACE A +18 (68mm lip)

Rear:
18x10 FACE B +8 (100mm lip)

My thought with this setup:
Front: will clear brakes, face a, and also fit the wide front fenders. Correct?
Rear: As large lip as possible. Will need wide fenders, rollig, pulling....Correct?

Please give me your inputs on this, wan`T to know if i think backwards (wrong)....

Regards
Andreas

Red - car looks sweet

Mr2 - the face you refer to is called the disk style. So face a would be a High Disk to help clear the brakes. Face B would be a med. disk and last one is Low disk. It doesn't change offset, just the backspacing of the wheel. The sizes you put sound right but like noted already, the rear will need a roll and pull. I would just do it to have more room to work with and have less camber needed. Also, sweet brake setup

18x9 +18 with 20mm wide fenders is sunk city. That would be flush with stock fenders and 0 camber. Rear is a good size though. S14 have almost the same amount of space granted you run the same amount of camber. So, youre adding more space to a wheel thats already more sunk the the rear. 18x10 +8 will clear if you stretch or 235/245 40 with some camber.

Red Square...car looks sick.

Here's my 57F Pros on the supra.

18x10 +32 (high disk) w/ 265/35
18x11 +21 (low disk) w/ 295/35

One-off metal widebody front fenders
Doluck rear flares

I bought these 3 years ago from Rays...took 2 months for the fronts and 6 months for the rears.

For me, a stock rolled fender and slight camber and stretch, im able to fit a 9 +0 no problems rubbing. Id at least go with a +12. Hell people run 9.5 +12 which is 6mm more out then 9 +12 with no issue on the front.

New specs

18X9 +24
18X10 +24

Both low disc. Will i'll need spacers for the front due to the fact that i'm running R33 Calipers? Also what would be the best tire specs? I was looking at 225/40 and 255/35 for the rear.. I wanted to keep close to stock camber (since it's daily driven) and no rolled fenders if possible.

Look at my signature. I fit 17x9 +5 and 17x10 +10 on S13 with OEM fenders slightly pulled.

You now have wide fenders? Should be able to fit quite a low offset then.....S14 is easier than S13.

I'd go with 235 front tire. If anything try to keep your stagger within 20mm.

You MIGHT need a 5-10mm spacer to clear the brakes with the low disk. It shouldn't be too drastic though.
