my engine light flashes on and off for some reason anyone know why sometimes its on for a few minutes then turns off then sometimes its on for a days then turns off then sometimes its off for a period of time then comes on again dont know why anyone know why????

check you ecm and see what code it throws

It could be a bunch of different reasons... To find out pull the codes from your ECU. Do yourself a favor and download a service manual for your car (see my signature), it has the process outlined as well as lots of other information to help you solve problems... Welcome to Zilvia.
