Car Issues... Fuel? (Cranks, No Start)

Yesterday i went to out after not driving the car for 3 days. It started fine. After having it parked for a couple of hours i went to start it again.
The car started, idled at 1500 for 3-5 second and RPM's dropped and it stalled out. I thought the battery discharged after having it parked for 3 days and tried to jump start it (didnt really make sence because i started it and drove it to the mall, car didnt start when i was ready to go home)
It seemed crank but did not start. Had the car towed home around 9pm.
so the starter works
tested each coil and there is spark
my next thought was fuel but it was around 11 so i decided to leave it for the day

Anyways this is were it got wierd. Today around 8pm i was going to start checking out the fuel but decided to try to start it for shits and giggles. Car started and idled perfectly. took it out of the garage and drove around for about 10 minutes drove back home, parked it and shut it off. Waited 5 minutes and tried to start it again. the car started and again RPM's dropped and it stalled out. tried to start it again and same shit, cranks but no start.

I'm putting my bets on the fuel pump, what is proper way to test it. Any other suggestions on what it could be, or anyone had similar problems
