TUNE UP: Am I missing something?

1. Replaced O2 sensor
2. Replaced Air Filter
3. Replaced Fuel Filter with 300zx
4. Replaced Oil Filter with OEM 240SX Filter (Replaced oil too)
5. Replaced Spark Plugs with NGK Iridium Spark Plugs
6. Replaced Spark Plug wires with NGK Spark 7mm Plug Wires
7. Replaced Distributor cap with a new one (Hitachi)
8. Replaced Rotor cap with a new one (Hitachi)
9. Replaced any leaking injectors with used but non-leaking ones

* After this, I poured seafoam in my almost empty (And I mean ALMOST EMPTY) gas tank. There's two more places that you should pour it but hehe I dunno how to properly do it, Kinematics showed me how but I tend to forget stuff).

* Then after doing the seafoam treatment, I filled the gas tank half way and waited until it's almost empty again and poured some Fuel System cleaner.

Anything else that I forgot to do?

Why not do a coolant flush and run straight water (if you do not have to worry bout freezing conditions) Cars tend to keep 20degrees cooler with straight water vs 50/50 mix.

Hell if you're at it like that. Why not replace your clutch fluid and brake fluid, with higher quality fluid.

Bleeding brakes will take forever. but is fun

Brakes/Rotors (if you haven't replaced recently?)

lol many things you can do :P check all your fuses too. I've done that and pulled out a few popped ones.

i usually do 1/3 in a near empty gas tank, 1/3 in the crankcase (followed by an oil change), and 1/3 to the throttle body via the vacuum hose...

you may as well do the coolant and tranny fluid if you are due...

Wait so I have to replace my spark plugs again? T_T.

And yes it's a set for $190.

I forgot to mention I already did the tranny and diff + clutch bleed. Not brake though. T_T.

I have to have an anti-freeze, I'm in CO.

Are you asking because you did all this and the car still has problems? Or are you just looking for more things to do... Sounds like you got most of the major things taken care of. Here are few other miscellaneous parts to check:

Clean the MAF
Clean IACV
Check the ECU for codes while you're at it...
Change trans gear oil
If you have an LSD, change gear oil there as well
Check PS fluid level
Check Brake fluid level
Check clutch fluid level
Inspect cooling system: upper & lower radiator hoses are in good condition, flush/bleed coolant and water, check/replace thermostat and check/replace pressure cap.

edit: 6 replies posted in the time it took to post this one... sry for some duplicate ideas

What kind of lag? Like split secong reaction time lag? Then power on?

But anyways. Yes being pinked sucks. And for the stupidest reason ever. And its amazing how being a premium member buys you more slack.

No the car runs great. It's just that it's summer and since I have no summer classes to attend to, I'm finding a 2nd job to fill my school time...and I'm doing some maintenance on my 240. I've overlooked some stuff that you guys listed. I'll be sure to do those stuff too. Some of them I didn't even do last year or even 2 years ago.

I did that last December. I'm lookin' at the battery being sold at PDM Racing. It's the Genesis Compact Battery. That way I don't have to relocate it when I do the FMIC piping.

Oh. Hehe. It just lit up a couple of hours ago...I put it in mode iv to reset it since I didn't see any leaks...but it still went on. I"m gonna drive it for awhile then replace the remaining three injectors that I didn't replace.

Yep, I did that...no smoke went out though and I put around 2/3s on each normal opening you pour the seafoam. Does it ruin injectors too? It's supposed to clean them right? T_T

Thanks mrmephistopheles. I found the culprit and it's in the same place the last injector was leakin' at...I dunno why it's hte only one who kept' on leaking. Is it the fuel rail now? Or should I still try my last used (Non-leaking) injector and try to see if it leaks again...?

Interior fasteners? You could chase down all the little loose stuff and put felt in where there are squeks and noises. It's very worthwhile. The PCV is VERY important. You could clean up the engine bay if it isn't clean already that way you can spot if you have any leaks easy. Windshield wipers. Vacuum hoses if they've never been touched.
