stock s14/s13 ka24de downpipe interchangeable with s13 sr downpipe?
from my reasearch, s13/s14 downpipes/headers are interchangeable as long as you use the correct downpipe/egr, just the catback is different
basically what i'm asking is if i can use an s13 sr20det downpipe on my s14 headers, the flanges are the same, and they look close to being interchangeable but i am not sure if they're like a hair or so off from actually being swappable |

They aren't exactly the same. The end that bolts to the header (or elbow on an SR) is about an inch shorter on the SR downpipe. (or it could be the bottom of the KA header is a little higher than where the bottom of the o2 elbow is on the SR)
Either way, with the stock KA mounts I was able to bolt a GReddy downpipe up in my KA, but once I put the NIsmo mounts in there was no more sag and I could no longer bolt it up.

Plus the rear flange is clocked just a hair. Using a catalytic converter with floating flanges it will bolt up perfect, otherwise the catback section will sit crooked.
This only works when replacing the S14 downpipe, the S13 downpipe is a 2 into 1 merge collector. |
