congratulations on the ride.
And believe me, you are gonna have tons of fun and all the experimentations. I mean, I did a major upgrade from my previous POS cavalier. This whole rear wheel drive thing and plus its manual makes it that much better

Congratulations...I know how you must feel. The best feeling is experiencing the engine "woosh" and pull at like 3,500 RPM in 3rd gear for the first time (on 93 octane gas that is) while passing someone on the highway.

To be honest, when I bought my 240 it was a downgrade (well..for the time being). Prior to this I had two cars...a 2000 Civic Si with a 75 shot of nitrous and a 1990 Civic DX hatch with a B16 swap. The hatch would walk over anything on the streets...it was kind of scary how quick that thing was...everyone was shocked when they rode in it. As far as the Si...it was a lot of fun but too expensive.

So when I got my 240...man, this motor blows...Im sorry! I just can't get over the crazy sensation of hitting 5,000 rpms in ANY GEAR and then it feels like the car is revving higher but the acceleration just levels off. Its almost like a "clutch slipping" sensation, but from what I am told...all KA's run out of steam at 5k rpms.

I'm running standard 87 octane...no need for 93...I wont be racing this motor. I just cant wait to do my swap!

Gaaaaaaaaaagh you got such a better deal then the shit im forced to work with. I swear in my area there is nothing! I swear if you can get an 1989 fastback with less than 130,000 miles for under 3,000 you're getting a good deal in seattle... Plus we have 8.8% sales tax so basically the car costs you an extra 10-15% after sales tax and registration. How did you find a deal like that?! You must live on the east cost I swear...

hmmm...I paid $3,500 for my 92 240sx SE and it had 85,000 miles on it. One 80 year old owner who bought it new and garage kept it all 10 years. He also had every record of maintenance on it!

I'm happy with my purchase

in hp, i was down graded from a 89 rx-7. I was pushing 200hp at the wheels and the way the rotory sounds, brings back memories. But i bought the 240 cauz no one has it and i really dont need speed now so i am still happy. I bought my car from a white dude that just bought himself a shinny new porsche. He dumped his car off to me for 10,500 with 40k. I got a great deal.
