the ka alternator works on an sr if you drill out the top bolt. unfortunately my alternator died. enjuku helped me out when i needed a alternator and told that it would work.

u can alos use a quest alternator which has more ampage

pretty much i didnt know about this that you could interchange the alternators with a little modification.
