I'm thinking about just taking the risk, how much would it cost to get a fiberglass copy in case i did crash the original? I'm still saving, but i think i'm gonna go with takakaira's conv. It looks good in the pic, but who can tell &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> ? I hope to get back on this one soon.

I'd spend that $3500 on speed upgrades, that reduces a lot of risk.
1.) risk of looking silly when a showy car gets smoked by a stock looking one
2.) risk of loseing a LOT of money in a fender-bender

You have to talk to your insurance company about coverage, I'm pretty sure you can get it covered, but at an extra cost...of course.
