hey, i'm new to the board, i just got my 240, and i have a problem.  it idles just fine, but when the tach gets to around 2500, i get a lot of white/gray smoke coming out of the exhaust.  I was told it was probably either the head gasket or the valve seals, but i wasn't sure how to check either.  I know if it was the head gasket, fluids would be mixing in the engine, and i'm not having that happen.  What signs should i look for if it is the valve seals, or does any one else know what it might be?  It smells like it's burning oil out the back.  All my fluids are clean, no mixing, and it seems to rattle a little at low rpm.  Any ideas/input would be great.  thanks!
