HELP!!!! quick question
Ok so i bent the shit out of my lower control arm, to a point where i am unable to remove the nuts that hold the t/c rod. well one of the nuts if u can picture that the metal bent so close to the bolt i cant get anything in there and even if i could i wouldnt be able to take the nut out. so my question is do these bolts come out completely out of the t/c rod or are they stuck on. the reason i ask this is because i want to use a impact bit to try and unscrew the bolt from above since i cant loosen the nut from underneath.
1. do these bolts come out all the way? 2. could my idea to unscrew it from the top work? 3. any other ideas that wont compelely destroy the bolt?if i do need to destroy the bold where can i get another one? ![]()

if your going to replace it, take a dremel and cut a flap on whichever side and then hammer it up so you can get an opening for your wrench, same problem happened to me, bent right at the two bolts so i had to cut both sides.
After installing my front lower control arm however, i had a problem with final tightening of the ball joint, i was unable to tighten it to the point of the pin to slide through because as i tightened the ball joint is spinng with the force of the direction. Is this bad? ide hate to get another lca |
