cylinder #3 not firing

turn car on and the idle is terrible, i started taking out plugs one at a time...

1 - take off and car wants to die so i put back in

2 - take off and car wants to die so i put back in

3 - take off and nothing changes... hmm

4 - take off and car wants to die so i put back in

so obviouslly #3 is messed up.... i switched plug #3 with #2 and it was the same as stated abovem i switched the plug wire #3 with #2 and it was still the same as above, i bought a new distrubutor cap installed it and STILL the same as above, is #3 not getting a spark or whats going on?? thx in advance

btw could it be a bad injector? could i use some injector cleaner or would i need to buy another one?

Check the plugwires and and injector coils with a DVM. See if it's coming from there. Check the Sparkplug. Do a compression test. I've come across this problem with a friend's truck once, turns out there's a bad compression in one of the cylinders. Intake valves were fucked. Replaced valves, and problem was solved.

how did you test for the injector? my cyl #1 is not firing ....my car sounds like a wrx.
