what do you mean by "came in the trunk of my eclipse?" Or do you mean, you bought an eclipse an in the trunk was the turbo pictured above?

It looks like an old turbo Z31 (87-89) T3 style turbo. The car came with a vg30det, it also spools real quick in my friends car.

Yep, looks like a Z31 T3 to me...

Oil coole donly for '84, then ol and water for '85-88 IIRC (or was it '85-87?)

I can't remember.

It's good for ~290rwhp or so, maybe a little more...for a compressor map, look for a T3 60-trim compressor...it's very similar.

I'm going to guess that it is oil and water cooled then? because of the 2 nipples on the compressor?

Yea, I got a Z31('87) turbo in front of me and it looks almost identical. ~290rwhp eh....yummy.

No...those are both for the stock wastegate actuator...why they used 2, I dunno.

BUT...the center section will have an oil inlet and outlet...fairly obvioc which that is. If it has 2 other ports, then it is water cooled as well.

Basically:

2 ports in the center section = oil cooled only.

4 ports in the center section = oil and water cooled.
