my personal "kuroi" setup

so after a lot of mindless chit chat and what if
finally did it
and i love it
haha

oil temp (defi BF)
water temp (BF)
tach (defi link)
boost (BF)
oil pressure (BF)

lowest right
two holes for my turn signals (will plug in this weekend)
and defi box
profecB
fuel pressure (defi link)

dont mind my cetner piece yet
its my temporary one
ill get a new one cut
this is on fiberglasss and a dremel to make it work haha..super ghetto. bleh!
but its just temporary

hopefully Enthalpy RS can have my ecu
hopefully my motor will be ready
and hopefully on the track for JD RD 4

enjoy:

and a vid. ooh la la
didnt hook up the link tach yet.

vid:
http://s29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...t=MOV03586.flv

oh and yes i have a PAINLESS wiring
and YES my power windows work! muhahahahahaha

how it was made and what is needed:

first: money
because your shit megan gauges arent cool.

secondly: patience and time

thirdly: the right connections

money bought teh gagues
patience got the money
time and work got the money

the right conections?
my friend has access to a laser cutter
so laid out the design on the computer, took it to the laser cutter, cut out PERFECT forthe gaue cluster area, everything fit f'in perfect, no problems. taped up the back to hold the gagues in
put the glass face cover on...
ah crap couldnt fit the wiring
took it apart and tore the back of the gauge cluster up (the white plastic part)
once that was one, everything sat perfect and wiring to fit, no problem.

defi gagues uses a 'daisy chain' so its super easy to setup

the cetner console peice is temporary. have to made a file for that to tget laser cut and then ill epoxy it into place. shouldnt move for shit!

its awesome
my motor should be in and running soon by hopefuly 1.5 weeks!

other then that
the switch panel is 'PAINLESS' brand! it rules! i also wired up the power windows with it, kids stuff (with maeda's help)

ok i guess thats it

its a pretty sweet setup
also i dont run a fuel gauge, its basically a track only car.

Are you going to use two switches for the turn signals. When I did my painless kit on my 510 I only used one switch. I think I was a on-off-on switch and it has 6 connections on the back.

oh i got the painless turn signal kit from summit as well
i bought all 3 units
the fuse, the switch panel and the turn signal
all so easy to wire, took 2 days by the time i got the stock plugs on, everything loomed tested and in.
couldnt have done it faster but i work real slowly on electrical.

the turn signal kit inculded relays, and the flasher unit

THE BEST PART:

no matter what bulb size i use for turn signals, it will STILL FLASH LIKE A REGULAR BULB!

u know on our cars, when u change the bulb size you get 'ricer flash'
painless it doesnt. its awesome!

so it gave me left and right signals AND hazards (second switch on - off)
the turn signals is a on - off - on switch.

i actually probably use the hazards more then the regular signals
hazards are good when at the track. since cant yell w/o taking off the helmet to someone. hazards are quite useful.

Most people have their gauges turned this way (when used in racing) so that at normal operating conditions, all of the needles point straight up and down...this way a deviation from normal is easy to notice

I liked how you clowned on that S13.

LOL. I like the gauges, crooked LOOKED random, but makes more sense now.

I'm tired posting. Like Dousan does, but with double spacing.

I wanna see the aero, and your paint job. No teasers, just git it dun!
