I blew head gasket on my KA-E so put another KA-E. Now this new KA-E motor makes cacophony that I really can't describe other than saying that it sounds like metals inside engine rattling or something... Somehow it sounds like old diesel engine too but this is much louder.
I am trying to distinguish whether if this is engine knocking or valve lifter with air in it. How do you distinguish those two sounds?

Just for your info, before the swap, because I didn't have a engine stand, I had to rest the new engine on a tire and by mistake I tilted it to side briefly (less than a minute).
