Kouki HID DIY?

Hi, i was wondering if theres a DIY for putting H1 HID bulbs into the headlight.
I tried searching and i did find some information on good place to mount the ballast, but i need some help trying to get the bulb in. I was wondering do i have to remove that pin that holds the oem bulbs so i could put the HID bulbs in? I only ask this because i got a set of h1 HIDS and it looks like they don't fit right.
I also searched HIDplanet and there was nothing there about a DIY. Help would be appreciated thanks. Also if you know of anyother 240 sites that mite have this DIY. can you name them? thanks.

There shouldn't be a writeup. Just pop out your old bulb, pop in the h1 hid bulb, mount your ballast somewhere, wire it up (using a stand alone relay harness) and plug the ballast to the bulb. It's not like you have to cut crap.

I prefer to use the HID planet kit over the S2000's. 1, they are new. 2, people want as much or more for just the S2000 housings on ebay.

the heck are you talking about? you dont know how to change a couple bulbs? you sure you got h1? pull your halogens and check the base to see if they're the same. ballasts just mount wherever its dry. theres not DIY for rebased hid kits cuz they're pretty straight forward.

well i did get h1 bulbs tried to install them. However, it was a tight fit and i ended up braking one of my hid bulb. there was a pin holding in the halogen ones. so i was wondering if i need to remove it? i wasnt sure because i could get the bulbs in but it would go in at a angle because i guess the base of the bulb is to big? i was just wondering if i needed to take anything off the stock setup so i could fir the rubber base in there.

lol. UGH. the clip holds the bulb in. you push in on it and to the side to pop it out.you dont just try to cram it in the hole. go to autozone and ask the guy behind the counter to change your headlight bulbs if you cant figure it out.
