HID install question..s14/s15

Hey guys,

I have no instructions that came with this kit so can someone just confirm my thoughts before i actually go ahead with anything.

question 1: The attached pics, 1 shows the headlight power wire in my car (green wire). the other wire is attached to the metal casing..i assume this is the ground?


quest 2: The other pic shows my HID kit.
Should connection 1 be grounded? its coming off a fuse...
Should connection 2 be grounded as well?
Is connection 3 a power/neg combo or is it power from one side and power from other side? it looks to me as power/neg combo..in which case it should be connecting to that green wire in the other pic? and i assume the metal casing (which is soldered onto atm).
