possibly... no reason to push the extra couple pounds over the established safe number of 12lbs... I actually wouldn't even be running that with the stock SMIC ~

Well reason being is that I have an MBC just sitting around in my garage and now that its getting colder and colder out I figured what the heck lets take it from the stock 7.5 lbs to 12 or 13 lbs. So 12lbs is safe with the t25? I cant order the fmic till next friday which puts it at two weeks away.

That's the reason it's not wise to buy used turbo cars, because of people that think like this.
Save up for front mount. Why be in a hurry to destroy a motor? |

A T25 at 14lbs?? hahhahhaha you are pretty much in the land of inefficeincy at that point. To break it kindly on a T25 anything over 12lb's is a waste of time cause the Turbo is pretty much pushing hot air. Any fool that tells you he ran over 12lb's on a T25 and felt power is high on crack and following the butt dyno.

I've run 14 psi on stock smic and never gave me any issues. I live in the desert that reaches in the 105+ degrees about 6 months out of the yr and never had any issue. I think it's a hit and miss for some people blowing up their motors from it thinking the 14 psi blew up their motor when it really was something else.
12-14 psi felt pretty much the same, but I left it at 14 psi anyway just to piss off some people. So many cars come at stock boost like the DSMs at 12-14 psi on their stock smic anyway...what's so good about their smic than ours?

whats worse is maxing out the injectors. The air is more dense. I would turn the boost DOWN to make sure it doesnt run out of fuel

I live in the high desert and at 14 psi have never seen anything near 90% fuel injector duty on my Apexi electronics.

thats what I thought. I've owned many other turbo cars... My VW 1.8t was running 21psi stock SMIC... I added water nossles for the intercooler and never got heat soaked. My question was about winter time. Daily driving a car how can you possibly heat soak a car which is only under boost for a few moments at a time? I think 13 psi will be fine. I see the turbo going before the motor...... Stock 370's should beable to support 250whp no problem...
