I'm confused with your phrasing at the end... does that mean you're going with 3" pipe to the rear, regardless of which you get?

The way you phrased it, it sounds like u wanted to use the same catback... so if you go large piping on the KA, it's going to defen u

As far as performance goes, increases in top end will be negligable tween the two, pick the one you think looks/sounds the best. As long as you're going catback and not universal, you'll be happy (well, as long as it's not the 3" tubing&#33

No it wasnt confusing for me cause i understood every what what u was saying. Ur old exahust gave out on u and u wanan knoe what exhaust would be good for ur KA setup. I havent heard the apex n1 on ur car. BUT I have heard the hks hyper on the ur car and its pretty deep no raspy sound. Also u can get the BLITZ spec-r exhaust which is very nice too

I've had the N1 single on my 92, and I'm currently running the HKS Hiper. the N1 sounds really nice, but it's a little big for NA...but if you don't mind a little power loss on lowend until you go turbo, the N1 will be great when you go turbo. the HKS is great, but once you go turbo...you'll want bigger.

FYI.....HKS makes two Hiper exhaust for the S14 body. There are both a SR20DE and SR20DET version.

3203-EX021 is 65mm piping with a 115mm tip

3106-SN006 is 85mm piping with a 120mm tip

Apex'i has the same thing

162-N001 is 54-60mm with 115mm tip

161-N003 is 75-85mm with 115mm tip.

It really depends what you want. You should not get another exhaust till you figure out if you are going SR or not. A 85mm system will not help your N/A KA at all.

if you can find out where to get the NA version of the N1...please let me know...as all of the shops think that the NA version is not sold in the US. I wanted to get that...but settled for the HKS instead.(not that it's bad or anything)

i like the Apexi N1 look and sound. i sounds pretty mean, but can be quite loud. on my Integra i have an Apexi World Sport, the quality is great, good welds, but its not full stainless steel. piping is ceramic coated. i have heard, seen the N1 on my friends car, Teg, and its a high quality piece.

btw, wut happened to the RS*R they make good products.

for honda/acura the make Skunk2 products, good stuff

www.optauto.com

they have a lot of stuff, friend works there, check um out

I personally think HKS Hi-power aka Hks hyper sounds pretty nice so dont think its a bad choice cuz its a great choice. I was going wid hks hiper but i wanted something different So i decided to go wid JIC MAGIC Titanium 505 Bullet exhaust system. Its very light weight system and its has a very nice angle to it as well.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that the N1's have 3" piping. I would have gone with the N1 myself because IMO it's ok to lose power when your machine isn't built yet, but it's a shame to lose it when it is.

I've talked with shop owners, and they've all said that the N1 only comes in the turbo version for our cars, they've stopped selling the NA in the US. Apexi's website, shows the same thing. only the N003 and N004 are available...not sure about special orders though...
